I recently visited Asur kitchen, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for Persian cuisine. The food was absolutely incredible! The shishlik lamb rack was a delight, perfectly tender and juicy. As for the bone-in chicken kebab, it was hands down one of the tastiest chicken dishes I’ve ever had. Beyond the food, the interior design and vibe of this place are top-notch. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a minimal yet elegant decor that creates a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

This newly renovated Persian restaurant is beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was not only delicious but also well presented. We tried the Koobideh and Joojeh, both were juicy and fresh. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area!

Totally recommended. I've just spent the last two hours telling co-workers how great my dinner was last night. Excellent food, beautifully presented. Ella, our server was fantastic. The portions were huge, especially because the prices are good. The food came very quickly, partially because we just beat the dinner rush but I'd say it was fast cooking, too. We tried the Kashk-e-Bademjoon and the Asur Special Noon-O-Panir Sabzi Dip. The second one has more of a European taste, although complimenting the rest of the meal with the broader range styles. We were looking forward to the Fesenjoon and loved it. I tried the Baghali polo Mahicheh and also loved that. I have to add that the mountain of rice we got with each of them means we are having leftovers tonight and the rice was done perfectly. Normally I don't care about rice but I couldn't stop eating this because if the texture. In case you're wondering, the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but the mocktails beat any other drink. We had the Pomea and the Moveron. Gorgeous looking, filled to the rim of the glass and delicious. There only drawback was the seating. We had great seats by the window but the tables were a little closer together so getting in and out was a chore. Asur is a definite must for Persian food!

As a resident of 30 years in west vancouver, i am so happy that finally we have great options for excellent persian cuisine. Atmosphere, decore, food, and service were all excellent. Only odd thing was they served no alcohol. So you cant have a glass of wine or beer with your dinner. I still gave 5 stars despite this missing service and am hoping like any other restaurant, they will carry a nice wine and beer list soon.

Amazing Persian food. We had kabob and a bunch of starters that were all great. On top of that the decor was awesome and the service even better. We had people ask us if we needed anything like 5 times which never happens at a Persian restaurant ! Will definitely be back.

We had dinner at Asur Kitchen and honestly, everything was amazing. My daughter and I ordered the Shishlik Kebab, and my son had the boneless chicken (Joojeh Kebab) with rice every dish was full of flavor. I’m a huge saffron lover, so I tried their Moveron drink (saffron syrup, chia seeds, rosewater, and Malva water). It was so nostalgic, it brought back memories of my grandmother and felt like home in a cup. The sweetness was just right. My kids had the lemonade and loved it too. Mehdi was wonderful, he recommended the yogurt with cucumber, which was so refreshing. He was kind, always smiling, and helpful with everyone around. The staff were all lovely, and the owner is incredibly humble and beautiful. The ambiance is elegant, modern, and calm, such a peaceful place to enjoy a meal. The drinks looked exactly like the photos online, and tasted even better. Asur Kitchen is now one of my favorite Persian restaurants in Vancouver. Highly recommend!

Exceptionally good!! Why aren’t there banners flying around about this restaurant? The service is impeccable, the food is scrumptious, and it’s absolutely gorgeous inside! We had the Chengeh kabob and Fesenjoon for mains and Kashk-o-Bademjoon for appetizer. The appetizer was one of the best Kashk-o-bademjoons I’ve ever had and I’m Persian! Honestly, everything was almost the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot because there are some phenomenal cooks in my family. The tea is so tasty and full of aroma too. We’re not even done and I had to write a review :)

Had dinner here with my partner and the food was amazing! The portions were very generous, food was seasoned and cooked to perfection as well. We were not necessarily hungry but the food was tremendously delicious that we ate till we were a bit past full. We ordered Soltani Kebab (lamb), Baghali polo Mahicheh, and Kashk-e-Bademjoon to share. The dip of the appetizer was surprisingly refreshing and tasty, not overly heavy. Bread was delightful! The kebabs and lamb shanks were tender and juicy, lamb meat fell off the bone easily and the kebabs were very juicy and flavourful. The ambience of this place is relaxing and the layout is well thought out and appealing to the eyes. I also noticed that the doors to the washroom are handicap accessible! Service was great! Our server Ella was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would definitely come here again to try their other dishes since the restaurant quality was excellent!
